Minutes from 1-75 and the Ohio Turnpike,
The Guesthouse is located just steps from
Historic Downtown Perrysburg,
which offers a range of fine and casual restaurants,
boutiques and gift shops. On the finer side, we highly recommend The Rose & Thistle. Rosarias, Stellas, a great spot for lunch, dinner and live entertainment in a very casual and lovely atmosphere including outdoor seating, weather permitting. The place we frequent daily for a juice, coffee or something fresh like a good salad or sandwich (with their garlic sauce) is Zingos!
5th Street Pub is the local "watering hole", a great place for a cocktail and wood-fired oven pizza, just behind the house, (used to be Syd & Diane's!) Inside the 5 for "pub food", Lupitas for Mexican, and, across the street, breakfast or lunch is
The Lamplight Cafe. All within walking distance.
If you want to take a very short drive, there are wonderful restaurants at Levis Commons too.
Biaggis, Benchmark, Basil and more. All are very good. Plus outdoor mall, shopping.
Looking for a good cup of coffee? Maddie and Bella is the place. They Roast and host.

A Taste of Toledo (take a unique gift home from the best in the Toledo area!)
Only 7 blocks from us, walking distance or easy drive, is one of our favorite places founded by a truly great woman. There is so much history that Mrs. Stranahan made a point of sharing with all. The 577 Foundation is a must see, spring, summer and fall, and especially if you come during the winter months as the dome is a great "get away" that makes one feel really good! Founded by Virginia Secor Stranahan, The 577 Foundation is dedicated to preserving the integrity of the historic property of 577 East Front Street, Perrysburg, OH.
If one has the time, a visit to The Toledo Museum of Art is a must. One of the finest museums in the country just 20 minutes away!
Toledo Museum of Art
If you are an animal lover, Toledo also offers a very fine Zoo. One worth visiting, especially the Conservatory (greenhouse) and summer concerts on Sunday Evening (free) in the amphitheatre! Take a look and see if the performance schedule has interest!
